Here's a brief run through of our process.

Remove Existing Turf / Dig out area

Our artificial grass landscaper will remove existing turf or garden beds. Dig the soil out to a depth of approximately 80 mm.  The artificial grass will need to sit approximately 1 cm above any edging. All waste will be removed by Termico Ecoturf with a skip bin included in our price.

Leveling Sand Base

The existing sand base will be leveled on completion of the dig out.  A layer of cracker dust approx. 2 cm. will be applied & compacted to create a solid base. This layer will provide you with a firm, well-draining surface that will support the artificial grass.

Align the Grass and Cutting the Turf to the Shape

Our experienced landscaper will align the grass to the shape of the prepared area assuring a perfect fit. Once the artificial grass is in place and completely covers the desired area, a utility knife will be used to cut the Lawn to the required shape.

Pin Artificial Grass in Place

Once the grass is the correct shape and size. We will secure each corner, then insert turf pins along each edge.  Special purpose adhesive will be used to secure any joins in the grass.

Silica Sand

We apply a thin layer of silica sand directly to the lawn surface. Use a spreader to ensure even coverage. This will help to provide a stabilizing effect on the artificial grass and will help to prevent it from moving.
